The CAT Group is launching an original initiative with the aim of motivating significant and lasting changes in favour of sustainable development on the part of its employees and centres in Europe.

From June to August 2008 every employee working for the Group will be invited to submit their ideas for significant improvements and innovations. They will be able to choose from among 4 concrete themes: ways of reducing the consumption of water and energy, reducing and recycling waste, and environmental innovation.

One winning project per theme will be selected at the end of the competition. The 4 winning projects will be deployed and applied at Group level, and a prize of €2000 will be awarded for each of them.

This original event is being introduced in the context of the environmental policy that the Group has now been following for some years. With the Sustainable Development Trophies CAT is reinforcing its involvement and its employees' involvement in this field in its role as a major and responsible player in the automotive logistics sector in Europe.
