Change in organisation within CAT - Chairman & CEO

The Board of directors of CAT met on 5 July 2007 and appointed Mr. Manuel Antelo as Chairman.

The Board also appointed Mr. Alejandro Forbes, former Managing Director of Logistics Vehicle Division, as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Manuel Antelo said " Wallenius Lines and I, as new owners of the company, are very enthusiastic about the future of CAT which, with the co-operation and the support from all its employees, will be quickly successful again.

Manuel Antelo is the partner of Wallenius Lines AB in VSI (Vehicle Services International), the new owner of CAT.
Manuel Antelo, 54 years old, has a degree as a Public Accountant. He is an

 

entrepreneur with more than two decades experience as founder, owner and CEO of many companies within the Automotive Industry.In the Present time, Mr. Antelo is shareholder of CAT Argentina and Chile, President of Car One Argentina, shareholder and member of the board of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics US, Canada and México and President of San Jacinto Agro Business Argentina.

Alejandro Forbes, 45 years old, has a degree in civil engineering. He started his career in Renault Argentina and joined CAT in 1997 as Manager of the subsidiaries of Mercosur. He was then Head of CAT Mexico and joined the Headquarters of CAT in 2005 as Chief Operation Officer. Since March 2007 he was the Managing Director of Logistics Vehicle Division.
